WHAT IS CIZE?

Shaun T is back with another amazing workout, but this time, it actually doesn’t even feel like you’re working out! It is so incredibly fun, uplifting and full of energy, that I barely realized I was working out…until the sweat started pouring off my face! I honestly did sweat more with this workout than with Insanity Max 30! I didn’t think that was even possible!

 

DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO DANCE

Absolutely not!! I am an athlete and NOT a dancer and I was able to pick up the moves so easily! Shaun breaks down the routines, step-by-step, move-by move, and builds them into a full dance combo. And at the end, you’ll get to CIZE IT UP to songs from Shaun’s playlist. You’ll be so focused on mastering the moves that for 35–40 minutes minutes you’ll forget you’re actually burning fat and calories.

Now, I was a Zumba-Queen and loved everything about it, especially being able to attend the LIVE classes, so I have decided to get certified to teach CIZE live and in person! This is totally outside of my comfort zone, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned from Shaun T, it’s to blast through those comfort zones! I realized after sampling the workout, that I can learn any of the moves and teach them to others, because Shaun T really is such a great teacher! He’s also one of the best motivational speakers I’ve listened to! WHO IS CIZE FOR?

In reality, CIZE is for anyone! However, I would recommend this to someone who loves having fun with their cardio and is looking for a high-energy way to torch calories. You can easily incorporate this if you are a runner, love lifting weights, or use this as your main workout. If you have tried and love Zumba or any other form of dance fitness, you will LOVE CIZE!

IS CIZE JUST CARDIO?

CIZE is a cardio workout or, as Shaun T calls it, “power cardio.” This isn’t a muscle building workout – like Body Beast, but your muscles are being worked through the different movements and isolations. It’s more of a weight-loss sculpting routine that you get just by dancing. (I personally will be combining Cize with weight training, likely from the 21 Day Fix.)

CAN A BEGINNER DO CIZE?

Yep. CIZE is a flexible workout in that you can control the amount of intensity.  So it’s great for beginners and those of us who have some fitness background can ramp it up for the very beginning.  It would also be a good choice for someone just getting back into fitness after a break.

IS CIZE GOOD FOR SOMEONE WITH A LOT OF WEIGHT TO LOSE?

Ideally, any program is great for someone looking to lose a lot of weight, if it incorporates a modifier. Because this is a dance workout, you can modify as much as you would like, by not putting your total energy into certain moves until you are ready. 

IS THERE A MODIFIER IN CIZE?

No. As stated above, a modifier is not necessary because Shaun T breaks down the moves into their most basic form. You can keep it super simple as he demonstrates in the beginning, or totally rock out. Modifying the workout has to do more with your level of fitness than the amount of weight you have to lose. It would be a good choice for someone who is just starting their fitness journey. Almost everyone can march in place or step side-to-side to the beat when they need a break.

WILL I LOSE WEIGHT DOING CIZE?

Absolutely! This is a cardio, fat-blasting workout that will leave you drenched! You will also be following a dialed in nutrition plan tailored to YOU and your goals! You will definitely lose inches and weight with this workout if you put in the work and push play every single day!

HOW IS CIZE DIFFERENT FROM HIP HOP ABS AND ROCKIN’ BODY?

“One difference is that these routines are made to the songs, where as in Hip Hop Abs and Rockin’ Body, it didn’t really matter what song you were listening to or what track was on,” says Shaun T. “Hip Hop Abs and Rockin’ Body are very watered-down movements and fitness-oriented dancing, where CIZE is more like you’re dancing in a music video. It’s a different range of motion you don’t normally get. It will increase flexibility, make your legs stronger and help in every single exercise you do.”

IS CIZE OK FOR THOSE WITH KNEE ISSUES?

YES! CIZE works for those with knee issues. Of course everyone is different, so listen to your body, but as of this writing (pre-release) I’ve done the complete “You Got This” workout. It was extremely knee-friendly.

WHAT IS THE MUSIC LIKE IN CIZE?

The music changes throughout the routines. “I picked out every single track and kept the beats similar,” says Shaun T. “Some of my favorites are Chandelier by Sia, Pass that Dutch by Missy Elliot and Lose my Breath by Destiny’s Child. These are songs you probably didn’t even know you could dance to, but now you know what to do with them!” – Shaun T

DO YOU LEARN CHOREOGRAPHY IN CIZE?

Yes! Each video will start with 30-35 minutes of learning the moves in a progression. Each move is combined and practiced over and over so when it comes time to put the moves in a routine you’ve already got it down. The progressions are done to instrumental-type music. You get the “good music” when you perform your entire dance routine at the end of the workout.

HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAM?

The workouts are 35-45 minutes long and will be 30 days
